New Frame Loom Weaving Course

I plan to start the new course
during the second week of January 2017 in a textile Studio located between Santa Ana and Santa Lucia in down town Mérida!

The course will be divided into 4 sessions of 4 hours each at a cost of $1,500.00 pesos which includes your frame loom and the materials that will be used during the course.

To program the classes I am suggesting 2 possibilities. Please let me know which option suits your needs best.

1. Morning
Tuesdays - from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (or from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
or
Thursdays - from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (or from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
Or
2. Afternoon
Mondays - from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
or
Wednesdays - from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

• The course can start when we have a minimum of 4 people registered
• The inscription fee of $500.00 mx is required must be covered before the end of December 2016, to guarantee your frame loom and material. Please, if you have interest, email me and I'll send you the account number for you can make your deposit.

In the course we will learn the basic terminology and theory, how to prepare the frame loom, use the weaving tools, and become familiar with hand weaving processes - step by step culminating in a final weaving piece. At the end of this course we will have the sampler of basic patterns and small products.
